Welcome to BiuBiu Tools

What this toolkit is, why it exists, and what we'll write about here — a free, privacy-first set of utilities for everyday on-chain work.

This is the first post on the BiuBiu blog, so it’s worth saying plainly what the project is and why it exists.

BiuBiu Tools is a collection of small, focused utilities for doing on-chain work without the usual friction. Check what can still move your tokens. Scan balances across thousands of addresses. Send to a long list of recipients in one signature. Browse hundreds of networks and add one to your wallet in a click. Each tool does one thing, runs in your browser, and tries to make a tedious or risky task feel calm and obvious.

The ideas behind it

A few principles shaped almost every decision:

  • Self-custodial. You hold your keys. We can’t move, freeze, or recover your funds — and we designed it so we never have to.
  • Privacy-first. The sensitive parts of your work happen on your device. Many tools need no account at all.
  • No blind signing. If a tool submits a transaction, it shows you what you’re approving in plain language first.
  • Free and open. The whole thing is open source, so you don’t have to take our word for any of the above.

What we’ll write about here

Roughly three kinds of posts:

  • Release notes — what shipped and what changed. Short and honest.
  • Guides — how to get the most out of a specific tool, with the gotchas we wish someone had told us.
  • Build notes — the engineering decisions and trade-offs behind the toolkit.

Where to start

If you want the short version of what BiuBiu is and how it works, the docs are the place to begin — start with the introduction and getting started. If you’d rather follow along as we build, this blog is where the longer story will show up, one post at a time.

Thanks for being here.
